Copper River Native Association

Christopher Gene is an Ahtna Athabaskan Elder who was born and raised in Gakona in the Copper Basin on the Copper River. Currently he is the Vice President of Gakona Village Council, the President of the Copper River Native Association and the Copper River Basin Regional Housing Authority. His professional experience, Mr. Gene is a veteran who has worked for the Gakona Village Council as a water technician, a laborer for AC&PPC and a past member of the Copper River Native Association Health Board.
