Conrad Peterson
Kodiak Villages

Conrad Peterson was born, raised and currently lives in Old Harbor, on Kodiak Island. “Listen to the people, be fair and be yourself,” advised an Elder. Conrad has worked for the people of his region for the past six years. The cultural knowledge he has gained brought him to be involved in preservation, education and planning for the future.

Mr. Peterson serves on boards and committees for several organizations, which he values and says the experience has broadened his knowledge, including: the Old Harbor Tribal Council, the Old Harbor City Council, the Old Harbor Scholarship Foundation, the Koniag/Kodiak Shareholder Committee, the Gulf of Alaska Coastal Communities Coalition and Kodiak Island Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. He is the youngest of six children to Victor and Martha Peterson.
