Dana Leask-Ruaro
Central Council of the Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska

Dana Leask-Ruaro was born in Ketchikan, Alaska to Sharon Leask-Brooks and Lloyd Brooks. She is Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian and of the Raven Moiety. Her grandmother is Mae Irvine-Leask of Kasaan and her late grandfather Ronald Leask of Metlakatla.

Ms. Leask-Ruaro graduated with honors from Haskell Indian Nations University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Tribal Management. As CCTHITA’s 1st Vice President, she serves as the Executive Council Secretary/Treasurer. She believes in continued education and a strong supporter of Foster Care.
