Dorothy M. Larson is the Bristol Bay Native Corporation representative on the AFN Board and the SpecPro board, wholly owned subsidiary of BBNC. She serves on the Alaska Native Heritage Center Board of Directors, the Honoring Alaska’s Indigenous Literature board of directors, and the Consortium for Alaska Native Higher Education, a tribal college initiative as one of BBNA’s representatives. Dorothy divides her time between Dillingham and Anchorage. She previously worked for the state legislature for over ten years as a Legislative Information Officer and at AFN for nearly 9 years as Executive Vice President and as Co-Director for the Alaska Rural Systemic Initiative a joint educational endeavor with the University of Alaska Fairbanks, the National Science foundation and AFN.
