Myron Naneng
Association of Village Council Presidents

Of Yup’ik ancestry, Myron Naneng serves the peoples of the Yukon-Kuskokwim delta as President of the Association of Village Council Presidents (AVCP). His education experience includes an associate degree Land Resource Management at the Kuskokwim Community College and Natural Resources studies at the UAF. Mr. Naneng’s professional experience includes realty and lands management, Special Staff Assistant to the Governor of Alaska and AVCP Vice President. He serves on the boards of the Sea Lion Corporation, the United Utilities, Inc., the Alaska Village Initiatives, the Howard Rock Foundation and the AFN/Human Resources Committee. Mr. Naneng is married with eleven children and three grandchildren.
