Tim Towarak, Inupiaq of Unalakleet is the President/CEO of the Bering Straits Native Corporation, the Alaska Native Regional Corporation for the Seward Peninsula/Norton Sound, and serves as the Co-Chair for the AFN Board of Directors. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Mr. Towarak's work experience includes special staff assistant to Governor Knowles, city administrator for Unalakleet and owner of Towarak Management Services, to name a few. He also served in the US Army as a Military Policeman. He enjoys hunting, fishing and basketball. Mr. Towarak is married to Rosaila and they have five children.
