Research and development of a specialized Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program, including knowledge-based economies.
Development and piloting of an Economic Diagnostic Team and the creation of a process to help assess economic opportunities in the villages.
Research and development of a Microfinance Program in collaboration with the Denali Commission, utilizing the authority extended to the Denali Commission in recent Congressional amendments to the law.

Alaska Marketplace – a collaborative project launched by the Denali Commission, the State of Alaska and the Alaska Federation of Natives and managed by AFN under a separate funding arrangement.
