As part of AFN's ongoing efforts to address our communities' changing energy needs, the roundtable was orgnanized to provide an opportunity to discuss perceptions and realities of the energy crisis, actions which can be taken by government and the private sector, and the range of partnerships that might turn a crisis into an opportunity for the future. This forum was not for pessimists or cynics. It was an opportunity for a dialogue on what can be done now, and how we can move forward in an atmosphere of trust and optimism - a place to share big ideas and concrete steps which could involve us all. In cooperation with: Featured participants included Senior Senator Ted Stevens, Senior Senator Daniel K. Inouye & Governor Sarah Palin.
