Watch AVCP’s 2012 Special Convention on the State of Our Salmon, Jan. 10th & 11th on 360 North

AVCP’s March 2012 special convention on the State of Our Salmon, filmed by KYUK will air on the public television program 360 North January 10th and 11th from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For three days, representatives from many tribes and many different agencies discussed the concern of the declining Chinook salmon and how it impacts the lives of the people living along the Yukon and Kuskokwim rivers. The purposes of the convention were to identify ways to help conserve our Chinook salmon and how to incorporate Tribes in the management of salmon through-out their migratory route. Day one of the Convention broadcasts January 10th and days two and three broadcast January 11th.  Read more at http://kyuk.org/the-state-of-our-salmon-special-convention-to-air-statewide-on-360north/ .
