Alaska Energy Authority and AFN are co-hosting an energy workshop regarding the State of Alaska’s Power Cost Equalization (PCE) program.
PCE is one of the most important programs affecting energy costs in rural Alaska, however the details of how the program works are not widely understood. This workshop will explain the basics of PCE, how it affects rates paid by rural residents and businesses, and how it interacts with other energy programs such as the Alaska Energy Authority’s Renewable Energy Fund.
